Nike Air Max LD Zero H by Hiroshi Fujiwara

Hiroshi Fujiwara, one third of Nike’s HTM dream team, unveils his mash-up of Nike’s past and present

VIA GQ: This Wednesday, Nike took a great leap into the future by unveiled a ton of new, innovative products. In 2016, Nike will release sneakers that are lighter, more comfortable, and even some that lace themselves. But on March 26, the label will look back by celebrating the the 29th anniversary of the Air Max 1 release with its third annual Air Max Day. To mark the occasion, the label is releasing a host of special edition Air Max sneakers, many of which are designed by some of the brand’s closest partners. One such partner is Hiroshi Fujiwara, a streetwear pioneer and one third of Nike’s HTM sub-brand (a joint design effort between Nike CEO Mark Parker, designer Tinker Hatfield, and Hiroshi) that is known for introducing new Nike technologies via limited-edition releases, such as the Flyknit Racer in 2012. So, for Air Max Day, Hiroshi designed a sneaker that perfectly marries Nike’s classic sneakers from the 1970s with its more recent history. So, without further ado, here’s your exclusive first look at the Nike Air Max LD Zero H.

Introducing the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0

Welcome to the future! After much speculation and hype, the HyperAdapt 1.0 is finally set to be released later this year.

After Nike teamed-up with Michael J. Fox to tease Nike fans with their self-lacing Mags on Back to the Future day in October, Nike has finally announced to the public that these well-hyped kicks will be released for public consumption.  However, reports suggest that Nike will first release the HyperAdapt 1.0 to Nike+ membere first, so it’s best to hop into that account.

Given this new technology, should we expect to see our favorite Nikes like Jordan’s and Air Max’s to follow the same platform? We bet the traditionalists will scream and shout, but soon “Adapt”.

Nike Roshe One X Air Safari

Inspired by the practice of meditation and the concept of Zen, the Nike Roshe Run epitomizes simplicity. It has no embellishments, just basic shoe necessities brought to life with every detail. Almost every part of the shoe reflects an aspect of a tranquil Zen garden: a modified Waffle outsole made to look like stepping stones, an insole that mirrors a raked rock garden, and slightly different midsole side lengths—a juxtaposition of seriousness and playfulness.
