MERCEDES-BENZ FUTURE BUS

When you think of your ordinary city bus, the last thing you think of is sexy. Well, this isn’t your ordinary bus. Leave it to Mercedes Benz to completely flip the script on the bus industry and bring the world ‘Future Bus’: a modern, sleek, safe, efficient, and beautifully designed piece of modern transportation.

But of course, this type of efficiency won’t be seen in the States any time soon. Future Bus will make its first appearance in the Netherlands, a common jump-off point for new technology that isn’t strapped by, um, big business and politics.

PILOT TRANSLATING EARPHONES

Trying to understand someone who doesn’t speak your language could be a thing of the past, thanks to this new piece of technology.

Pilot earphones act like much like Babel Fish in ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy’ – they let two people who speak a different language understand each other.

The gadget will launch to translate between English, French, Spanish and Italian in Autumn of this year.

What this tiny house lacks in size, it sure makes up for it in design. Built by the homemakers over at Escape, this tiny home is on 160sqft, and barely breaking 25 feet in length. With beautiful design touches of cedar wood, metal, and glass, this tiny home makes a strong argument for ditching your brick-and-motor setup.

All-in-all, it doesn’t look like a bad SuperBowl weekend for Mrs. Hova. Beyonce dropped somewhere near $10,000 per night for this mack-daddy Airbnb rental.

Located in Los Altos Hills near the Levi’s Stadium, the “contemporary masterpiece” — as the Airbnb description calls it — features five bedroom suites and eight baths, a game room with a full bar, fitness center, infinity pool, spa, and outdoor fire pit. Designed by Noel Cross Architects, the home boasts net-zero energy use, as well as containing a rooftop garden, a fruit orchard and live chickens for fresh eggs on the premise.

BMW has offered up a sneak peek at its latest work from their M Division, the Concept M4 GTS. Focusing on its motorsports roots, the concept is a street-legal racecar continuing the legacy left by BMW icons such as the M3 CSL.
