The iconic hippy-mobile, the Volkswagen Microbus, shows off a rare model which is now up for auction on Sotheby’s: a 23 window version with matching camper to be exact.
The original engine in the Volkswagen Microbus was pretty underwhelming, so the owner went back to the drawing board and upgraded with a 50 horsepower 1585cc flat-4. Included in the Sotheby’s auction is an extemely rare 1967 Eriba Puck camping trailer. Only five of these vans have survived to this day.
